This episode is the first of the three wrap-up episodes that bring the series to a close. Here, Faye visits the place in the video and meets a friend from her childhood, an old woman. Meanwhile, on earth with her, Ed visits a convent she had been raised in and Spike and Jet track down a bounty that happens to be Ed's Father. Faye returns to the Bebop troubled by her inability to remember her past and Spike is beaten six ways to sunday by Ed's father. Later, Faye remembers the details of her life and finds home on the Bebop. Ed decides to stick with her dad, and Ein departs as well. See you, Space Cowgirl.
Session 25: The Real Folk Blues (Part One)
- Origin of Name: This, the two part finale of the series honors John Lee Hooker and his popular song The Real Folk Blues.
This is the second of three wrap-up episodes, but is the first part of the final showdown between Spike and Vicious. Vicious moves to seize power from the Red Dragon Syndicate, but information is leaked and he is captured instead. Meanwhile, Spike and Jet are assaulted by RDS assassins, and Spike begins a desperate battle against the syndicate with one of his former subordinates. As he works to track down those responsible, Faye meets Spike's lost love, and the two reunite, but Spike is staring down the barrel of his Love's gun...
Session 26: The Real Folk Blues (Part Two)

The last episode in the series, this session reveals the rest of Spike's history with Vicious and Julia, and comes to a violent head when Spike and Vicious fight each other at the end of the episode. Having succeeded his Coup after escaping, Vicious sends more assassin after Spike and Julia, and more after Faye and Jet. Faye and Jet manage to hold their own, but in the ensuing battle, Julia is slain. Spike looks to the past and invades the RDS Headquarters alone, ready to face his past, and end his dream...
