Its Showtime
From Cowboy Bebop: Space Cowboy
In Showtime, its a small world after all. Spike, Jet and Faye all go their seperate ways to capture three different bounties. Unbeknownst to them, all three are in the same place. Spike and Jet enjoy drinks in the restaurant and are surprised to see Faye as their serving woman. They become angry, thinking that the others are after their bounty, but quickly fin out that each is after a different one.
Faye admits her bounty first: a rude, cagey regular at the restaurant who happens to be a corporate hacker worth a pathetic 490,000 wulongs. As Jet and Spike laugh her off, Jet explains his bounty: another regular at the restaurant who is a former circus entertainer-turned-shifty cat-burglar that specializes in fine art and is worth 500,000 wulongs, only 10,000 more than Faye's. As Spike laughs, he explains his bounty who is not a regular: The "Sweet Heart Swindler" convicted six times. Spike messed up four days ago trying to catch him on Ganymede and is trying to get him now. He is only worth 600,000 wulongs. Meanwhile, Ed is back on the Bebop trying to run interference for Spike.
As the moments go by, another bounty-head walks in that all three hunters recognize: Lester Lin, a serial killer worth 5 million wulongs. Knowing his tendencies, Faye ditches Spike and Jet and tries to entice Lester with her body and womanly charm. When she finally moves to capture him, Jet and Spike pick which side they think he will bolt to. Of course, Ed has impeccable timing and the intereference he had planned takes effect: the sprinkler system goes off, causing chaos within the restaurant. The crew lets the three small-fry bounties go and focus on Lester. It takes all three of them and considerable damage to the restaurant to tke him in.
After all is said and done, the Bebop makes only 570,000 wulongs, because the repairs were so expensive.
