Becoming a wildlife preserve of sorts with the needed necessities of life, it was left to its own survival, only disturbed by human hands when the creators came to make sure everything was operating in the natural fashion and without influence from others that did not belong there. Despite the extreme caution taken that kept the paradise secluded for many years, there is a problem with a secret: The magical bean bag sometimes tends to fall into the wrong hands. *****************************************************************************

Once living a normal young man's life fishing on Ganymede, Dane began to grow restless. There was an urge there, an urge to find out what lies out yonder. Though in this day and age, when one speaks of yonder, they usually mean away from the planet upon which they currently stand. After the deaths of his mom and dad via the hand of syndicate members, who were both working for ISSP one way or another, he carefully packed the things he thought he would require on a tourist trip to see the solar system. He had to get away, the sight of his murdered parents was a memory way to close to home, where the awful deed took place. Though appearing collected, inside he was a boiling pit of bitterness and anger, anger and regret not knowing where or how to vent itself. He knew that their last moments had been the farthest thing from pleasant imaginable; Dad had taught him many an investigative tactic, and Dane was a great one for mystery novels. To his deduction, the crime scene seemed to show how his mom was abused, used, and murdered first...while they forced his dad to watch all of it as they gradually strangled him. All the bastards left behind was some trideo tripod, mocking the awful situation, vainly bragging of its use in the room. Later, ISSP did find the footage uploaded onto their private mainframe with a private warning for ISSP officers, but all of it was kept on the DLow.

The public shuttle had just reached the asteroid belt, and it was supposed to head to Judas, that crazy engineering geared planet with that amusement park. However, apparently there was a problem; and while Dane slept during most the trip, the space ship went way off course after exiting the gates. Turbulence and the growing sound of whimpers turning into cries of fear around him, Dane awoke to find that they were headed downward, about to crash land on the blue green asteroid coming closer every second. Somehow, Dane managed to survive, but everyone else, the pilots and all passengers, were dead in the end. Only one other survived long enough afterward to screech horribly of their pain, a sound that disturbed the usually peaceful setting in the lush woodland. Dane searched but found no humans at all, and so scavanged what he could find from the crash site. He gathering all the things that could be useful, buried the dead he was able to move, cleaned up around the ship and made it his new home sweet home. He was truly amazed with the place, it was so peaceful and soon, the animals started to get more used to the human and his home, which started to become overrun on the outside by vines and bird nests. There were wolves, very beautiful creatures that he had never before witnessed outside books and digital files. Though he eventually found a working emergency comm beacon... the man decided that this would remain his home, this was where he would stay for the rest of his life if he could manage it. He destroyed the comm system and trekked across the lands to follow the wolves during their seasonal move.

Dane never found himself at a dull moment, nor was he angry or bitter anymore about his past life with men, that was over, or so he assumed then. He spent weeks getting the wolves used to him, and then finally they became his family and accepted him as one of their own. Every morning was a blessing; he wrote about them in his journals, one for every solar year (well if the chronometer on the ship still functioned properly) and eventually there were four of them significant to each year he spent on the asteroid beside his beloved wolfkin. They completely trusted him, and he trusted them with every fibre of himself.

Terrorist organizations were well known to cause major issues, striking their wicked way across the galaxy with bloody talons. Though he did not want this life to change, the terrorist org that found his new home was going to change it anyway. After the long four years and some odd months Dane spent there, a wonderfully clear day was desicrated by the bleeding rifles and phaser cannon fire from strike fighters blazing through the skies. They tore up the lands, shooting the animals down as well, murdering all of his wolves in cold blood, and if there was a reason that they had at all, he could never understand it. The shock was even more heart breaking than when his own parents were killed.

Finding a spot where few of the fighters had landed, apparently they were not yet destroying this area, he snuck up to one of the pilots. With a quick and satisfying snap of several unaware necks, he stole one of their fighters, and then he even managed to get it up into the air, having had pleanty of time to read about some of these things with help from his home ship's libraries. He swiftly and with burning rage circled the stolen ship in behind the fleet and killed them all with barely scraps of his own hull left, when it was all said and done. The spacial activity brought about the attention of the scientists who had set up the eco system, and who secretly knew of Dane's presence, ever since the first few months after he had settled down. He was allowed to stay for so long only because he showed much care for the land and did very little that upset the natural balance of things. Dane, however, did not know of the creators, or what the purpose of this once lovely place was. All he knew was that humans had come and destroyed everything he lived for, and so when these scientists came in their own ships to offer assistance, even though Dane kind of already ended the day's problem, he turned the scrap heap toward them. He was nearly ready to ram them, but through much convincing, he stopped and did board to talk to them. Finding no reason not to tell him about what the deal was, the creators informed him that this attack was the work of merely a very small part of the real terrorist group behind the curtain. He was still mad. *****************************************************************************
