From Cowboy Bebop: Space Cowboy

In the opening of Black Diamond, Faye is fighting for her life and running from some mysterious men. The action switches to Spike and Jet being interrogated by the ISSP concerning Faye, and Spike reveals everything he knows, "First, smile brightly at each other. And then, slowly drop your pants. Don't peek at each other. And finish facing front. That's how you use a Chinese Toilet. It's all I know."

Back on the Bebop, Spike and Jet meet up with Faye and find out whats so important: she is worth 6 million wulongs in bounty money! All she did was steal a joker from a casino, but Spike and Jet get her in cuffs and quickly prepare to turn her over to the ISSP. While the switch is in progress, Faye smashes a control panel and causes the Bebop to blow up a police vessel. Spike and Jet soon find themselves grandfathered in to Faye's bounty, and become a trio of bounty-heads worth 9 million wulongs total.

On the run, Ein snatches the joker and reveals a computer chip underneath. It is the Black Joker, one of two pieces of evidence the ISSP confiscated years ago while Jet was on the force. Combined with the other card, known as the White Joker, it can be used to pull money from an imaginary account, making unheard of sums of money from nothing. Jet realizes Huey, a rookie he commanded while he was in he force is behind this, and sets up a meeting, alone, in a warehouse.

Huey tries to doublecross Jet and kill him, but his own officers show up to arrest him as they suspected him all along. The Bebop doesn't get the money, but neither does Huey, and Jet reveals why he left the ISSP: he was tired of all the corruption.
