Arianna is one of the last survivors of the Martinelli mob family.

The family was brutally murdered by the five other powerful families in the city of Verona, Italy. When she was only 2 years old, and Nina, a baby, there was a siege on the Mansion. Her entire family lived in the estate and thus they were slaughtered. Before her mother died she and her sister were hid underneath a bed. While the massacre was going on the butler ran in looking for the children, Aria too scared to move or speak couldn't tell him she was there but Nina was crying. So the butler reached under the bed for the infant, not seeing the 2 year old. That's how they got separated.

Aria grew to believe she was the sole survivor and heir until she heard rumors. She came to Mars in search of her family. As soon as she arrived she quickly became involved in ISSP, wanting to make her parents proud of her. That almost ended all too quickly as her natural disregard for authority kicked in immediately. She continues to look for her family and found out something disturbing. Her family may not be all dead, just separated from each other, and...she might just have a sister. Years later at the age of 18, she has found her sister, Nina.

She went on to marry a man named Kain Highwind, and was very happy for a time until problems began to arise in the relationship. Lies, cheating, and betrayal ensued and resulted in a extremely bad divorce. Afterwards she became involved with the very man that caused her relationship to go bad in the first place, Dorian Amadaeus. Then, they had some problems and broke up. She was devastated when she found out he was with Nell, because she still loved him. Having found out the two were engaged she decided to move on with her life, thinking she should have stayed where she belonged, with her husband. And so they got back together, picking up where they left off.

Currently she is deceased after an attempted murder on Simon Richards, Leader of RDS, and a terrorist bombing of the RDS Headquarters. (I know the daggers in the pic is too short. Don't mention it.)
